I had the oil as a gift and wouldn't have bought it for fear of it being too shiny! But my concerns were unfounded: the oil spreads easily, isn't sticky, absorbs quickly, smells great, and the shine is only subtle, visible in the sun! I hope there are a few more sunny days to come...
